Week 5 Recap 

Jordan vs. Apostles -> My God did Jordan just score some points. SOMEDAY YOU WILL FIND ME CAUGHT BETWEEN A LANDSLIDE... IN A CHUMPBAIT SUPERNOVA.. A CHUMPBAIT SUPERNOVA IN THE SKY.... (twangy guitar riff).... None of the games were close to be honest.  Nothing crazy happened.  Good week to take off, I suppose.  Yes this was just a joke to play the Oasis song... JB beat BJ in the annual anagram bowl by about 40 behind a huge game from Josh Allen.  JB could have rested Allen, not started a QB, and still won by 10... Nick beats Nolan after dropping 150+ points. Saints D, Tyreek, Diggs,and Burrow all over 23 points for Nick.  Nolan is falling and cant get up. Turns out Justin Jefferson is good...George almost doubles up Joe, and gets a win.  Joe had about half of his points from Travis Etienne.  Jamaar Chase had a 50 burger.  Just one of those weeks for Joe I guess... Tidwell beats Mike by 36 points.  Kyle beats by 70. I like both these teams as the 5 and 6 seed this season.  

Week 6 Recap - Jordan and Joe was one of the games that were getting a ton of looks as far as a possible first round matchup.  But I think Joe has the stuff for a first round bye. Jordan has had one down week, and gotten unlucky as he is 4th in points but only has two wins.  Joe is solid and should be there at the end again... George has a score of 60 points, and loses to Kyle by, I guess the technical term is a "buttload".  The only person in this matchup that scored well is the Chiefs DST, which had 14, and is also a collection of people, not a singular person... Mike Berrones is 4-2.  He beats Micah this week.  Mike, after all the injuries, after all the drama, man, he is still there.  Kenny Walker is good man.  I like him alot.  He also had Mahomes.  His bench only had 7 points this week, which seems odd. Mike's team is an odd podge of random people.  I have no idea what is going on there.  If he was the 5 seed I would not blink.  If he was the second to worst team, I would not blink... Tidwell moves to 3-3 with a close slap fight win over Nolan.  Man, what has happened to Nolan's squad?  These two teams had their TEs combine for less than 2 points this week.  If Tidwell keeps losing, I bet somebody will pay up big for Tua down the road.  Nolan drops to 2-4... Nick moves to 4-2 with a win over BJ.  BJ after this week traded Kelce, Theilen, and Aaron Jones for a boatload of picks.  He should be set to compete in 2024 and beyond.  Nick will be in the final four, and if I were to guess right now, would be my 2nd bye team this postseason. The Apostles put a beat down on JB, and Peter/Paul move to 2-4.  The Apostles are a tough out, but can not seem to stay healthy and get Ws.  JB lost King of the Hill this week, his dominant lead in the standings, and the game, so he went out and got Taylor's BF, and White Megatron to boost his team.  He had, and still has to an extent, some picks to throw around, so maybe he is not done.

0 and Negative Watch - Beej sets a PHB record  in week 5 with a DST getting -13 points. Congrats to Beej! Micah with a -4 as well.  Beej also had-2 for his DST in week 6.

Best Scores: We are going to do a running tally of a perfect lineup for each week, and for the season as a hole. What player had the best performance each week at each position? What player had the best score for a single week for the length of the regular season. This week, we are going to obviously only have week 1 scores, but moving forward we will have it updated to reflect league long good games. THE ONE RULE IS THEY HAVE HAD TO BE STARTED DURING THEIR WEEK. For example, Steve Tidwell had Tua on his bench score 32 week 1 but that does not count because he was on the bench...

Bench Champ - We are telling everybody who was the bench champ in each week. This is who has the best bench every week. To be honest, who wants to hear about benches though?

King of the Hill - To recap, George, Nick, Jordan, and Beej have been eliminated the first four weeks.  Nolan got eliminated in week 5 with 62 points.  In Week 6, we eliminated JB with 77 points. Still Alive in King of the Hill = Kyle, Tidwell, Mike, Micah, Peter, and Joe
