Hoff's Hot Takes: Offseason Update 2

Stefon Diggs - Buffalo Bills. Cool. Diggs is good. He should be Allen's number one target and get peppered. Bills are gonna be favorites to win that division. This should elevate Diggs to a late first-early second round pick.
Todd Gurley - He goes to Atlanta. What a weird rise and fall for Gurley the last few seasons. He is still averaging 1100 and 10 TD with another 40 catches through the ups and downs.
Melvin Gordon - More confusion in the backfield in Denver. This muddies the water for Gordon, Phillip Lindsey, AND former number first round PHB pick Royce Freeman. According to reports I am almost certainly making up, seems like Phil Lindsey is the odd man out.
Jimmy Graham - Who Cares. Fuck the Bears.
Phil Rivers - Phil Rivers and his dozen children go to Indy. Who cares
Manny Sanders- Signs with the Saints. Does it affect JB? What is the effect? Will that Effect affect feelings in the passing game, causing Michael Thomas to lose treeeeemendous value? Stay tuned.
Tom Brady - Winston threw over 30 interceptions last year. The Tampa Bay Bucs lost 5 games by less than a TD, so I am assuming Winston cost that team the playoffs. Now Brady is leading the charge. Winston is 38-35 in his career. Tom Brady has 30 playoff wins. This will be the best supporting cast he has had in years as well. Godwin and Evans are top 10 WR. OJ Howard, Ronald Jones, and their supporting guys are okay too. Would not be surprised if they went 6-10, or if they went 12-4. You gotta think this helps the value of Evans, Godwin, Howard, et all...
Hopkins - What a dumb trade for the Texans. The Cardinals might be sneaky good on offense. Beej has to be liking the news for Murray. Kyler, Drake, Fitz, Kirk, and Hopkins could be fun.

Hooper - Maybe good. On paper the Browns are good, but I will believe it when I see it. With TE being down as hell, Hooper was drafted in the 13th round, so he will probably be kept.
Kenyan Drake - Signed a tender with the Cards. He will be the lead back in that offense, He finished strong, and will be a strong keeper for (??????) Drake averaged a TD per game, and 100 scrimmage yards for the Cards last season after being traded from Miami.
Eric Ebron - Signs with the Steelers. Big Ben gets a guy to throw TDs to from 2 yards out. I bet if you look at the average "good" Eberon game, it would be 3 catches, 20 yards and a TD. Eberon and Vance McDonald is going to be electric combinations of stats- 5 total catches for 9 yards and 2TD. stuff. Stay away from both.
Teddy Bridge goes to the Panthers. This means Cam is out in Carolina. JB and DJ Moore keepers will be wathcing this one. The QB market is real weird. WHen its all said and done, Joe Burrow, Tua, Andy Dalton, Jacoby Brisset, Cam Newton, Jameis Winston, Derek Carr, Flacco, and at least two other 1st round QBs will be in the mold to move around. Should be interesting.

Some stats during PHB history
Some ranks from 2009-2019 : Joe Flacco and Andy Dalton rank 9th and 10th in passing yards since our league has started. I would venture to guess that almost everybody in the league has had Andy Dalton on their roster at some point in time....Peyton Manning ranks tenth in TD passes since our league has started, he is the person in the top 10 that did not play the 2019 season. He stopped playing in 2015.... The top 8 QBs by rushing yards since the league has started : Newton, Wilson, Rodgers, Kaepernick, Alex Smith, Michael Vick, Ryan Fitzpatrick, Lamar Jackson. Lamar Jackson played two of those 10 years. And how bout shouts to Ryan Fitzpatrick. Big beard and all... Only three players have over 10,000 receiving yards since the league has started : Larry Fitz, Antonio Brown, and Julio Jones. Jones did not play until 2011. Only three people have 10,000 rushing yards since our league started : Frank Gore, AP, and Lesean McCoy... Zeke is averaging the most yards per game since PHB started. He averages 96 yards a game rushing. The number two person on that list is AP at 82 Yards per game!... Alvin Kamara has had all three of his seasons with over 500 rushing yards and 500 receiving yards. Only other players to have 3 seasons of 500 and 500 are Forte, Ray Rice, and Leveon Bell....Calvin Johnson's 2011 was the best WR season in PHB history. It is the 23rd best single non QB season, with the other 22 being RB...
