- We have a tie!!!! 1st place and last place tie! What a result! Both Marco and Doug score 113.65 points! What are the odds? I mean the odds to have that score are 1 in 11,365. The odds probably are closer to 15,000 :1. Marco needed a win, but in reality, all he needed was not a loss. He got that not loss, and is still in first place at 9-3-1. Between both teams, there are about 55 poionts scored between the four K and DST. There were also three guys over 20 points, so this was a fun one.
- Mickey beats Jack about 110-150 in the highest scoring game of the week. Mickey had George Pickens score 10 points, and he was the lowest scoring player for Mickey this week. Jack had Tyreek Hill drop 30 points, and now Tyreek has more games over 25 than under 25, which is insane. A bit of a spoiler alert, but later on down the article I will throw out my prediction for the first round picks for next year, and Tyreek will be high up on that list. Mickey is now on the right side of .500 and looking to win and get in for the playoffs.

- Perfect Roster after 13 weeks : Josh Allen, Christian McCaffrey, Raheem Mostert, Keenan Allen, Tyreek Hill, CeeDee Lamb, Travis Kelce, Dustin Hopkins, and Cowboys DST.
- Jordan takes down Dan 110-72. This moves Jordan to 8-5, separated one win above the logjam at 7-6, and pushes Rieger to 6-7, most likely missing the playoffs. Jordan had Kenny Pickett go down early in the game, so his QB only got 2 points. CeeDee Lamb had almost 30 points, and Jordan cruised. Good game from DeAndre Hopkins for Rieger.
- Crushing loss for Davies as he goes down to Brendan by 33 , 110-143. Kamara and Mixon gave Davies like 45 points from his RB, but Garrett Wilson and Keenan Allen only gave him 10 combined points in total from his WR. Brendan's pass catchers gave him 88 points in total, and that was the big difference in this matchup. Brendan has Sam Howell, and Jordan Love on his roster. Weirdly enough, those two QBs may be two of the better ones left. 14 teams started a backup this weekend.
- Wally Bally puts up about 110 points, but still loses to K4 by about 40. That should end the magical run Jim was on there to push into the playoffs. With 5 wins, he will be eliminated. K4 has a win and get in type game against Jordan this week... K4 was projected for 97, but blew by that mark by 50 or so. His starting WRs of Nico Collins and Deebo Samuel put up over 65 points combined to lead the way for K4. Jim's QB and 2 WR combined for about 85 points, and the rest of his 6 dudes combined for 20 or so.
- Mike Evans had a good game this week, and is now over 1,000 yards this season. Mike Evans has had over 1,000 yards each of his ten seasons in the NFL. The only other person to start their career with 10 1,000 yard seasons is Jerry Rice. Ever heard of him? How high on the all time receiving yards can Mike get? Mike is 30 right now. Lets say he has 3 years at 1,000 yards, then he falls down a bit to like 800 and 750. That would be another 4,550 yards. That would put his career total just under 16,000 yards. There are only two WR in the history of the NFL with over 16,000 yards - Larry Fitz and Jerry Rice. Tony Gonzalez is 6th all time with 15,127. That seems very doable for Mike Evans. So, get ready in a few years to look up and go " Mike Evans has the 8th most yards in NFL history?" and we are not gonna have any idea how we got there.
- Zach keeps rolling along as he doubles up Cirillo 74-145. As spoken on earlier, there are like no good QBs going now. Zach having Purdy is an actual advantage. Purdy is like a top 6 or 7 MVP candidate right now, which is weird. Christian McCaffrey is a stud (not breaking any news here) but he is basically insurance that you will not get destroyed. He is always there and always scoring points. Cirillo started two guys who did not score a point, so that probably hurt him this week. Tank ended up on IR so Cirillo loses a major guy for the stretch run.
- The only three teams to face under 1330 points this season are in 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place... Jordan is the only team who has only scored under 100 points two times... Mickey has made the most moves this season with averaging about 4 per week. Rieger has only made 5 moves all season, so one move every three weeks or so.
- College Bowl Season Thoughts - New Years Day at 4PM is going to rule - Michigan vs. Alabama.... 12/30 is a Saturday and Georgia plays Florida State.. Give me the Famous Idaho Potato Bowl of Georgia State vs. Utah State. I usually base how excited I am about Bowls based on their name, and I like me some Idaho Potatoes. Kansas plays UCLA in the Guarenteed Rate Bowl, so shouts to Sal. Notre Dame plays in the Tony the Tiger Bowl against Oregon State. USC vs. Louisville is a sneaky fun game too.
- Bets I like for this football weekend : Under 35 points and Steelers -3 in NE vs. Pitt (+123). Falcons Texans Jags ML parlay for +482. Saints -2.5 + Over 30 points for +114.
- The Bengals and Jaguars played on MNF this week. They combined to go 64/78 passing in the game. The 82% completion percentage for the game was the highest in NFL history with at least 75 passes thrown.
- DJ Moore is currently Pro Football Focus's 5th best gradeed WR this season, only behind AJ Brown, Tyreek, Brandon Aiyuk, and Aman Ra St. Brown. Bears currently have picks 1 and 5 in the draft. I am reading a mock draft on CBS Sports where the Bears trade Fields to the Falcons for a 2nd this year and a 2nd next. That would give the Bears 1 and 5 overall, a high second, a third, and two fourths, PLUS it would add another piece for next year. This article has the Bears taking Drake Maye and an Edge rusher in the first, and an OL in the 2nd. I do not hate it, but I do not want to start over at QB again.
- Prediction for top 12 picks taken at the Fire Brigade in August of 2024: Justin Jefferson, Christian McCaffrey, Tyreek Hill, AJ Brown, Patrick Mahomes, CeeDee Lamb, Saquon Barkley, Travis Kelce, Jalen Hurts, Aman Ra St. Brown, Austin Ekeler, and Josh Allen.
- The Lions scored three times in the first 7 minutes of the game on Sunday. They are the first team to score 21 in the first 7 minutes since 1986.
- The Patriots have lost their last three games by a combined score of 10-6. 10-7, and 6-0. They are the only team to go 0-3 while allowing under 30 points total in NFL history. Histrorically bad shit outta Foxborough there.
- Week 14 Preview - We are logjammed here at 7-6 entering the last week of the season. None of the four teams play each other, so we really do not have a "win and youre in" scenario.
